Here’s How to Become a Consignor at Queens Exchange:

01. The Selection Process:

Select your in-season clothing, shoes, and accessories. Make sure everything is in excellent, like-new condition and is freshly cleaned. 

Please understand that we do not accept clothing with stains, rips, tears, or defects.

Clothing with heavy scent of perfume, detergent, cigar/cigarettes or other powerful odors will not be accepted. 

02. Our customers' preferences are our main selection guideline.

In addition, we choose what to accept based on:

condition

style

brand

season

and current store capacity. 

We accept all luxury brands, contemporary brands, vintage and one of a kind pieces. We are more particular with fast-fashion brands (Example: Shein & Fashion Nova).

We do not sell real fur or exotic skins.

03. You can walk-in with 30 items or less during store hours Tuesday - Saturday between 12PM - 5PM

Check our Waitlist during store hours to view current wait times or make an appointment for the future. 

We limit appointments to 30 minutes per consignor.

Wait and process times can vary widely, so you are welcome to leave your items and come back after they have been looked through by our team. We ask that you please plan accordingly as unaccepted items must be picked up by the end of the day. 

Pick Up Policy

  • The duration of the selling period for your items is 60 days from intake. 
  • Please note that you will not receive any reminders for your pick-up date, however, you will receive a notification when your item has sold.
  • You may request that these items be pulled for you for pick-up in advance on our website.
  • After the pick-up date, any unsold items that haven't been picked up become the property of Queens Exchange and may be donated.

04. In a rush? Previous consignors can take advantage of our new "Drop & Go" option where you simply drop off your items and we will donate anything we don't accept on your behalf. Save even more time by signing the form ahead here.

05. Queens Exchange Style associates set the selling price.

We aim to curate an eclectic shopping experience with luxury, designer, vintage, contemporary, & one-of-a-kind pieces.

Typically, we price pieces at roughly 30%-40% of their current retail value. We always do our best to research & evaluate the correct value of designer, vintage, & rare pieces.

Our buying team love to discuss brand or designer value together, and assess current desirability to give you, the seller, the most fair return. 

Commissions are based on the following categories:

  • (Category 1) Luxury Handbags
  • (Category 2) Luxury Shoes/Accessories
  • (Category 3) Contemporary Apparel/Handbags/Shoes/Accessories

Commission earnings for each category are:

  • (Category 1) Luxury Handbags - 60% commission*
  • (Category 2) Luxury Shoes/Accessories - 50% commission*
  • (Category 3) Contemporary Apparel/Handbags/Shoes/Accessories - 40% commission*

    *excluding sales tax and store sale discounts. The final selling price is subject to any applied coupons, discounts, and/or markdowns. 

06. Commissions will be paid out 30 days after the item has sold.

A check will be mailed out to you or you can pick up in store.
